Meet Dr. Kasey Lowrance
Dr. Kasey Lowrance, DMD, was born and raised in Northern California, but views Austin as the home where her heart lies. Although Dr. Lowrance has lived on both coasts, she loves Austin with the same kind of passion that a native resident holds. Dr. Lowrance has a real passion for dentistry and a mission to provide the best possible dental health care services to her patients.
Dr. Lowrance earned her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine graduating top woman of her class summa cum laude in 2010. Following this degree, she traveled to San Antonio, Texas to complete her post-graduate Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at the Audie Murphy VA hospital. This advanced dental education gave her extensive education and further expertise in her field. After her residency, she spent 9 years working at one of the larger private practices in NW Austin. In joining Northland Dental Studio in 2018, she was excited to transition to a smaller, more intimate practice environment.
Dr. Lowrance holds a number of professional memberships with organizations such as the Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Capital Area Dental Association. She also maintains active dental certificates including Oral Conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation and is an Invisalign Provider.
Dr. Lowrance is passionate about community service and is visible in several local area health and wellness programs promoting oral health and hygiene through children and family education. She also devoted ten weeks to volunteer at Community Health Clinic – Dorchester House, where she provided dental care to under-served families in a Massachusetts urban community.
Dr. Lowrance lives nearby in central Austin so you may see her out and about with her husband (a native Austinite!) and her two little girls. She enjoys spending time with her family and theirher two dogs and two cats, and loves to stay active with regular yoga practice, running and hiking.
Austin is Dr. Lowrance’s home, the city that holds her heart with everything it has to offer. She loves this community and her patients mean the world to her. Her goal is to provide the very best in personalized, caring dentistry to everyone who walks through the door. Her calling is to help you achieve the best oral health possible.
